I am not fond of chocolate in general but for Läderach I make an exception! The house of Läderach has a lot to offer: the only outlet store, cafe where you can enjoy a crêpe with fresh Läderach chocolate and very good coffee or what I personally liked the most, the factory tour! The factory tour is a tour not only about how they make the chocolate but also about the family Läderach and the passion they have for chocolate ️ through the whole tour you have a feeling you entered a small family business where all the employees are part of the family and they are there to show you their house and their life! You will of course get a lot of chocolate and a spoon for chocolate degustation with the Läderach logo! I took my parents there as a Christmas present on 24th of December and they were literally like little kids full of joy! Hope you also have the chance to live this experience!

I’m not objective about Laderach anymore... I fell in love with their chocolate and it’s the only brand I buy since a couple of years. It is a superior chocolate. The factory outlet is interesting for good deals. You can typically buy broken pieces of chocolate at half of the retail price They also have a wide offering of regular products (at regular price)
If you travel from Zurich you will need about an hour to get to the factory (including a couple train changes). The landscape is quite nice. You can have guided tours or -like in my case- just venture inside the museum/factory on my own for 10 Swiss Francs (you get a voucher for 5 Francs to use later on when you visit the shop). One can manage to understand the whole process from the cocoa bean to the chocolate bar without a guide if you ask me. You can taste some chocolate there too and the shop offers sooo many things. The price of this brand is above average but it's well worth it!
Chocolate is amazing and the service is great. You should absolutely try the fresh chocolate.
The tour is definitely worth making! We were lucky to have the lovely guide Vanessa, who explained everything in detail and was very friendly. The chocolate is amazing.
Very neat chocolate factory. They spoke possible English and were very nice. We are looking forward to the tour tomorrow.

Amazing tour within the Làderach factory, tasting chocolate at different stages of the preparation. The presentation is insightful and the employees are very friendly and give you a small gift of 3 truffles and a Làderach spoon. At the end of the trip, you'll get to do a nice stop by the three melting chocolate fountains, delicious! Highly recommended!
